Mic Popping

Recently I did a union gig for a corporate show. I was the A2 and I didn't really know the A1 but he was having a good deal of problems with his podium mics popping. He fiddled around in his rack for a bit (he had an analogue rig) and a few moments later he had quite effectively cancelled out all of the popping.
