Christine and me: San Fran.

"I know you two! I believe the three of us wandered around San Fran together once. I made the mistake of ordering the same coffee you did. Your coffee is not for the amateur my man!"

Here is what happened at the Megadeth show at Ramshead...
Megadeths touring PM5D seized up right before they were going to go on. The decision was made to swap the inputs over to the house Midas console. This was done and line checked in a timely manner while the fans got more irate. Dave Mustaine had already gone out and told the crowd how it was the clubs fault and the the house PA sucked etc... Meanwhile still nothing wrong with the house PA. So Megadeth comes on and is playing through the house console. A "fan" decides to heave his drink at the FOH console. It lands on the center section of the Midas and kills it. We all know that water and electricity dont go well together. End result: club loses Midas FOH console due to irate fans riled up by Dave Mustaine. Clair Bros brings a new PM5D to replace the seized one the next morning and we did the show last night. All the fans that were there had a great time. Dave did not say anything bad yesterday. Should he apologize for beinf misinformed? Maybe... Thats not what Rockstars do though is it? Anyway, it could not have been avoided by Ramshead. Everyone on both crews (road and house) did everything they could to make the show happen and it did. Only 20 hours or so later...
I wasn't there the first night. 2 dead sound boards in one night is not cool.
