I understand their hearing,developed under best practices ,are probably better than mine.But I have had many such guys mix on a budget (time & gear) situation who displayed such an ego while butchering a mix! Band I play in our "sound guy" quit before an out door bike run. I set up,tuned and line checked band so this guy could waltz in and mix. Started the crazy in the mid 70;s; played in a band ended up being the sound guy.After graduation (HS 76) I started renting out pa I bought from previous band to friends.
