Would you as a professional Live Sound Engineer accept being told by your boss that you had to make unedited or unchecked live recordings available to the bands on demand, and that all the data belonged to the bar, and not you as the engineer, to be released at your discretion. Posted on July 21, 2010 at 1:27pm 14 Comments

I am based in Guangzhou. South China.

I recently found that my entire main system and stage was getting its AC from a hotel type plug adapter rated at 10Amps.. I calculate a load of around 25 to 28 Amps at full power.. any guesses what happens next?

I also discovered my venue was syphoning power from the local park supply, my system was online with Air Cons, the AC voltage at the amps was 175.. Guess what happened…

Hi Wayne,

Thanks for connecting.

Not to familiar with the local Hong Kong clubs such as Hard Rock Cafe, other than it moved to Central about half a year ago.

I've mainly been doing major concerts here in Hong Kong and that is only recently as I'm mainly doing studio mixing these days.

My email is warewhulf@gmail.com

Cheers, Ulf

Hi Wayne,

Nice picture of your venue!    A Pipa is an ethnic Chinese instrument I've run into a time or two over here.  Sorta like a bazouki, but not.

hm' i suggest if the gain of a mic input is correctly set at the recommended db, and slightly reduced then, the sub 3/4- for vox also set at a verified level, their should be no or very minimal crashes NB- this depending on of course the signal flow. every streaming of the signal should be clean. KENYA oh !
