The cause is still unclear, although it wasn't the Beyonce production, which evidently ran off its own generators. As for me I always blame the lighting crew, because lights at any show draw a lot more power than audio. The one exception to this for me was an outdoor festival I was mixing ,where I kept experiencing brownouts, which were traced to someone from six catering trucks tapping into the generator which was supposed to be just audio. Nothing like 50 deep fryers kicking in doing corn dogs, fish and fries to create havoc on your audio power draw!!! Ouch!
